Local Regional and Beyond - An Acts 1 model of Church
What is the Vision?
To be a Spirit-filled and empowered witnessing community (Acts 1:8)
Local - Regional - Beyond
Our impact starts right where we are:
In worship we not only encounter God but each other. The church is all of us together and our presence is a vital part.
Children and Youth
It takes the whole church to raise the next generation. Investment is crucial in developing and exercising our skills and gifting; enabling us to fully contribute at any age.
Sharing our faith and life at the Haven, Family Life Centre and at Level One. Church is wherever we are and there is nothing like a smile and helping hand to make it personal.
Within each of our six regions you will find 100 people.
On our journey as followers of Jesus we share and learn together in a range of groups designed for whole-life discipleship.
Any of us can offer help and care to others in church and our wider community. Pastoral care is about listening, supporting, encouraging and befriending one another.
We aim to intentionally share our faith within our spheres of influence - when we are about town, in our family, with friends or workmates. 'We are all Mission Partners'
We are supporting and engaging with the witness of the church in a global context:
This is an area of involvement the church as a whole shares. It is the corporate calling of the church in relation to a global issue, country or project. It is where God is asking us as a whole church to make a specific difference in the world.
This is an area of interest, concern or calling in regard to another part of the world that is not necessarily shared by the whole church. It may involve going abroad, financially supporting or raising awareness.
"All of us should have a heart for, and be engaged with, a part of the world out with Stirling and its regions" - Rev Alasdair Black, May 2012
The commitment we seek:
We want everyone to Serve locally, Witness regionally, Engage globally
