Alasdair Black is the Senior Pastor of Stirling Baptist Church. He came to Stirling in 1997. Prior to that he had worked abroad in the USA and Holland as well as in the south of England.
He studied at New College, Edinburgh and Regent’s Park College, Oxford.
He is married with two children.
Rosey has been involved in full-time ministry for many years, starting off in Inverclyde as a full-time youth worker, then with Youth for Christ as their Church Resources Co-ordinator. Rosey has been on the staff team at SBC since 2007.
Rosey is married to Kirk and they have two spaniels, Holly and Poppy.
David is our Executive Pastor and has been part of Stirling Baptist since 2011.
David studied at the International Christian College in Glasgow before completing a postgraduate in teaching religious education. Since 2007 he has been working in full-time church ministry. He is married to Susie and they have two children, Amy and Ben.
Having been in SBC as a teenager Rab returned in 2012 as Community Pastor. Rab studied Divinity at Aberdeen University and most recently before joining the team worked with Glasgow City Mission where he helped set up and manage the Night Shelter for those experiencing homelessness.
Brian joined SBC in 2014 as Regional Pastor for Callander. Prior to joining SBC, Brian had a career in banking, worked in Gartmore House near Aberfoyle for three years and then, for thirteen years, was senior pastor of Seagate Church, Troon. He has an MA in Applied Theology having studied at Moorlands Theological College. He is married to Iris and they have five grown up children and eleven grandchildren.
Rob is our Pastor (Under 25’s), meaning his main focus is the heading up our children, youth, student and young adult ministries at SBC. He is passionate about reaching out to the younger generation of Stirling whether that be through our youth base Level One, encouraging students to discover God’s purpose for them during their time here or seeing young adults grow in community with each other. Ultimately though his dream is to see each person grow deeper in their relationship with God.
Originally from Yorkshire, Rob has been at SBC since 2012 and is currently studying for his Theology Degree at the Scottish Baptist College.
